It’s awesome and works with the small space in my sons bedroom I had to work with. Perfect for his art and homework. Assembly was kind of pain. But we got it done and we are happy with it.Floating desk is sturdy, very well designed, easy to assemble and install. I would definitely add the excellent customer service they have. I lost some parts and my installation manual after we moved and they responded to my email first thing in the morning following up on my request.I absolutely love it. Very sturdy, easy to assemble and fits in small spaces with lots of space to store items. My daughter has a 27” monitor and there’s still enough room for a bigger one. I love the storage shelf below the desk and above it, five stars.Great for my purposes. I game and do CAD work and I was afraid that it would be small or cramped by the photos but its great. Plenty of space for keyboard mouse and wrist rest, as well as lots of shelving space for all your stuff. I wish it wasn't white but the black and fake wood colors always look too fake so I'd rather have it look plain than look fake, and its just fine. I might paint it. The back piece was a little difficult to install without predrilled holes and I couldn't find a drill bit, so if you don't have at minimum an electric drill you won't be able to install it on the wall. But, like, if you don't have a drill yet what are you doing? Either way you'll be happy with this desk.I've had this desk for seven years now. Though I don't work from this desk, rarely a day goes by that it doesn't get some use. It still looks like the day I bought it. Very sturdy and takes up minimal room. Worth every penny.Although the instruction manual has the parts labeled, however the parts themselves are not labeled. It would have been easy to assemble if the parts were labeled. I had to count the holes on the parts and line them up to make sure that I had them in their proper positions.Arrives unassembled. Instructions are graphic and easy to follow. I used my own battery drill for screws (Phillips head and straight hex/Allen head, which came with the package), but torqued low so screw holes would not get stripped. All items shipped in perfect condition. Simply sort out all the parts on a large floor, label with a pencil by matching shapes, and begin. Took me about an hour. The steel wall mount bar it quite sturdy. The desk hangs on the bar. The bar is EXACTLY long enough across the desk. You will need two people to hang it.With regards to the steel bar, there are multiple slots to choose from to attach to the studs in the wall. Screws that attach the bar MUST go into studs. This desk cannot simply hang on Sheetrock or plaster walls. You will need a stud finder. My primary grumpy note is that only three screws were proceeded for stud mounting. Four would have been appropriate. No need to skimp on the mount. The only other eyebrow raiser is that the corners of the desk end in a pointed corner. Right at toddler head height. If you have a small kid around, it’s an awareness point. There is a hollow box below the table to store an electric circuit surge strip. This keeps the cording neat and efficient. It’s sturdy, suits our office needs, looks good, and makes for efficient use of a small space.Bought to use a vanity and I’m so impressed. Large work surface and very study, it’s exactly what I was looking for. Easy to assemble, the hardest part is mounting to the studs!Great design, modern look. It's a nice desk and perfect for my kids as they're getting older. People get older. I'm getting older too. But yet, apparently, I'm still incredibly strong and this desk makes me feel great. Why? During final assembly, I was able to lift it and mount it by myself. (Which is good because I live on my own, other than my kids, who don't have the upper body strength to lift it.) Second, and most important:One of the bolts sheared when I screwed them into the wall. Now, I'm not a mechanical engineer (I'm electrical) but that shouldn't happen until we get to a couple of thousand pounds. Watch out squat rack, I'm going to shred you tomorrow! Apparently literally, since I was able to rip apart a mild steel lag bolt using just my bare hands and an Allen key. Oh, one of the other bolts stripped with the Allen key, so maybe they're using a super-soft metal.Lucky for me, I have lots of fasteners already, so I just put in some wood screws to anchor this to the wall. The kids think it's great, and lucky for me I read the US reviews to let me know to stick the power bar into the desk before you hang it.Worth buying, and I'd recommend it, but 2 stars down for including the WORST Allen key I've ever used in my life (and I include all that IKEA furniture in that subset) and for bad bolts. Kind of a juxtaposition with the rest of the hardware, which was easy to use and of high quality. Up one more star for actually being built in Canada, which took me by surprise.Sitting is the new smoking, at least, that's what I've been told. I picked this desk up as a cheaper and more stylish approach to getting a stand-up desk. A lot of the stand-up desks are $600+ with all sorts of mechanical pieces that can break. This looks really, really great floating on the wall -- and there is a back compartment where you can fit it right over top of an electrical outlet so there are absolutely no cables. It actually looks really amazing. The base is also nice and thick so you don't need to worry about bowing with heavier monitors. I fit a 24" and there is still about 6" on the sides and about 9" above it depending on how high I raise the monitor.Almost 5 star but the instruction were not good. I damaged the item putting it together because the instruction's had me put dowels in on the horizontal piece or shelf instead of the vertical causing it to push right through. I will send an illustration to try and show more what I mean.
