we needed a "spill guard" for our Bunn coffee maker. We love our Bunn, but if you are not careful you can add to much water (especially if there is some coffee left in the carafe) and make quite a big mess. At first we used a metal sheet pan, which happened to be about the right size. However, over time, coffee which is fairly acidic, began to eat through the tray. time for a replacement.We sought plastic so that it would be easier to clean, not subject to acid and if black, would hide spills. It was a grind to find something, but happened to stumble across this "jewelry tray" and its dimensions are perfect for out coffee post, give about 3/4 of an inch or so of clearance on all sides. Its shallow enough to be out of the way and unobtrusive, yet has caught 100% of the overflows we have had.
