Much better than the competition. I did a lot of research and many other brands claim to be both a seat and a serving tray/table. Beware, however. Many of the other tops do not fit snugly back into the cube when used as a table/tray. Rather, they are either loose or are not intended to be inserted into the cube as a table. Rather, they are better used as a carrying tray or intended to be laid down somewhere else. You will see that many if the other pictures do not show the top in the full table position. Rather, they are laid diagonally on top of the cube. Sneaky. Not true for this product! We primarily use is as a table and it fits snugly as such. It is well constructed, sturdy and handsome. Also a good value.
