I use this under my Nespresso Inissia model coffee maker and it’s the perfect size. It does not have a shiny surface, I guess I would call it matte. It has a cool pattern and it’s an unusual size if you’re looking for something a little longer that what I’ve typically seen in small size trays (like at IKEA or Home Goods).I'd been looking for a tray to hold the various seasonings and condiments that we normally keep on our dining table-- salt, pepper, sugar, hot sauces, etc. This tray is just the right size and works perfectly! It makes cleaning the table so much easier now that I can remove all the little bottles and jars in one swoop.ExcellentBeautiful tray. Wonderful for coffee and snacks. Lightweight.Product matched expectations and was delivered promptly. But it arrived broken - not helped by the packaging being inadequately thin. They need to improve the quality of the package to ensure fragile items aren't snapped into several pieces like mine.
