I bought a cheap bird feeding station (my second one) and this one came with some cheap feeders, specifically the tube feeder, so I wanted to add a tray to hopefully get more use out of it. I couldn't find a "universal" tray so I bought the cheapest one I could find and figured I'd rig it as needed. So obviously it didn't just fit on. Feeder was opened at the bottom and I was able to attach it with a zip tie around the perch (one piece that went side to side) inside the tube feeder in seconds. Works perfect. This will allow more birds to use the feeder. Not sayings it will work for all feeders, but I was pleasantly surprised.
